Peacock Farm installs at the 8th annual Bushwick Open Studios. Bushwick Open Studios (BOS) is a three-day arts and culture festival, hosted annually by the volunteer organization Arts in Bushwick (AiB). BOS is New York’s largest open studios event, encouraging hundreds of artists to open their doors and share their work. Peacock Farm was exclusively printed in Bushwick and looks forward to participating in this backyard international festival.
Peacock Farm will serve as the entry installation to Slideluck's 3rd annual BOS event. The sound design of this particular installation of Peacock Farm will be performed live for the first time by Justin F Valls. This latest sound design will also utilize original compositions created in collaboration with Andrew Reardon of Burning Sun Films.

The subject of the installation, Casey Slezak resides in Oregon where he continues to build various structures and furniture. In an interactive show, Justin and Casey plan to provide an exhibition in concert with the installation, including live musical and carpentary performances in Portland, OR.
​FEBRUARY 26 PREMIER CLOSES
The initial installment of Peacock Farm wraps up with a closing reception and another run of the sound design. Milk & Roses in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. 1110 Manhattan Ave. The sound design runs from 6-8pm on the 26th, with the installation removed on the 3rd of March.
